From this angle it definitely looks like an empty socket for the LED but I don't see a power plug in there. Check my post here for a better look at the Type S door panel for comparison.
I would also recommend checking DreamShop for a parts comparison between your Aspec door panel to verify...
Agreed and it doesn't help that it looks like an ugly patch job rather than a feature.
I almost ordered a new weatherstrip when I asked the very same question here:)
I've been running Apex VS-5RS with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 265/35-ZR18 since October 2023 without issue. No loss in pressure or anything odd to report. Handling isn't quite as crisp but the gains of confidently driving the car in seasonal weather is a tradeoff I'll take all day, every...
20 years old with 97,000 miles. All stock, all original, no accidents.
I do all the work, maintenance and detailing myself but this was another easy to own Acura. Super reliable, solid, quality car that was fun to drive. Past tense for me but she is still running strong and piling up the...
That was my beloved 2004 6MT TSX. A fantastic car that I enjoyed every minute of owning for 20 years and foolishly sold to make way for the Integra.
But she's in the hands of the best possible new owner who is caring for her, parks properly and is kind enough to send me updates. Nice to see a...
Particular? I scope out parking before visiting new places with Google Maps street view🤪
I also park out in the middle of nowhere but it's fine. No fighting for spaces, get some extra steps in and most importantly, keeps the ride looking new 20 years down the road.
I won't be changing any...
I stopped at a drive-thru and all was perfectly normal but when pulling out - SKREEEEEEEEEE!
The noise was hellacious. Sounded like nails on a chalkboard playing over stadium speakers. Birds darted out of the trees, children were screaming in fear.
Even though I was aware of this problem, I...
Thorough troubleshooting confirmed:)
Since you reseated two different tires with the same result, it seems to be the wheel:(
I've generally experienced excellent service with Apex but sometimes it has been a case of needing to talk with the right person. In those cases, they were willing to...
I've been running Apex VS-5RS with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 265/35-ZR18 on the ITS since October 2023 without issue. No loss in pressure or anything odd to report.
My BRZ currently has Apex EC-7R wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport AS3+ tires which were swapped over from Apex ARC-8...
Nice to see more pieces of the puzzle coming together.
According to parts listed in DreamShop, the Aspec and TypeS seats share the same position sensor - 81550-T20-A61.
Since these features are available on the Aspec, it would seem that it’s a matter of finding the right OEM parts so I compared seat and switch components between the Aspec, TypeS and FL5 on DreamShop.
It seems the differences are:
Acura 35961-3S5-A01 SW, L. SEAT MEMORY ~$40
Acura 81654-3S5-A21...
Extremely late reply to this thread but I wanted to share the results in case it helps others.
I ended up using Adam’s Advanced Graphene Coating and have been very pleased with the results. I’ve never seen water beading like this before!
The whole process took me a weekend but the...

Take off set of Integra Type S OEM wheels and tires complete with center caps and TPMS.
Driven 300 miles and in the same "new" condition as when I took delivery. However, there is a small chip on the wheel that was mounted on the left rear but...
Just order OEM sensors part number 42753-T6N-E03 from your preferred online wholesaler. They run about $35 each.
I replaced the rims, tires and used the same 42753-T6N-E03 TPMS. When first starting the car, there was a (!) in the cluster then within a minute and without having to touch a...
Thanks JC-RH!
I'd say the (iPhone) camera is accurate regarding the brightness/intensity but the shade of red is slightly darker in person. The red line illumination is even throughout the length of the pipe and is not washed out or distracting. These pictures are accurate with how it all...
I originally posted this in another thread but it's more appropriate (and hopefully useful) here.
The only tools needed to replace the LEDs are a Philips screwdriver and some plastic trim tools to make it easier. Installing the pattern projectors will require 1/4 and 3/8 drill bits for the...
