  2. What Lug Nuts for aftermarket wheels (conical seat) + Aftermarket TPMS sensors

@SlickMoney is spot on, most wheels will need thin wall sockets or special lugnuts. Here is a picture ofy wheels with the Gorilla lug nuts.
  3. Opinion and slightly modded Type-S Thread

I had a road trip last Friday, I made it a point to keep track of the miles and gallons. Sadly I was caught in 3 major slow downs (50 minutes added to my drive time) plus I had to drive the last 20 miles in city, even so I got 28.3 mpg. overall since I purchased the car I am averaging just under...
  4. Opinion and slightly modded Type-S Thread

A week of driving with all season tires, I estimate the fun factor has been reduced by about 15% in warm weather. March can't come faster!
  5. Opinion and slightly modded Type-S Thread

I got winter wheels and tires, I went with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 all seasonal 18" tires on Drag DR-67 wheels. Definitely not as good of a tire/wheel package as factory, but it gives me m+s tires for the light snow and below freezing weather we get in central Ohio. I went with Gorilla lug nuts...
  6. A Spare Tire That Fits Under the Load Floor

The .1 means one pack, otherwise you have to buy a pack of 10 it appears. If you look at my photo it has the .1 at the end of the part number, it's hard to see sorry.
  7. A Spare Tire That Fits Under the Load Floor

I am pretty sure it's the same part except the .1 may mean that you are getting a quantity of 1. I got mine from Rockauto, much cheaper than if you go to AutoZone. You want them to support M14 x 1.5 thread. Also when searching, dorman part numbers are 6 digits with a dash between digit 3 and 4...
  8. Hondata Jailbreak Day at The Honda Meet in Ohio

Suggestion if the hondata folks are reading these comments, schedule it on a Thursday when the Honda Museum is open, or coordinate with Honda to have the museum open the same day you have the next event here, that would be a nice bonus for making the trip if you came a bit further than Central /...
  9. Hondata Jailbreak Day at The Honda Meet in Ohio

Glad turnout was good, hopefully they will be back next year, and now I know to look for their visit to Ohio at the end of September.
  10. Hondata Jailbreak Day at The Honda Meet in Ohio

Agg I would have been there had I known!!! Literally 1 day off from finding out, grrr!!! I wish Hondata would have replied to my email back in March about adding me to a mailing list then I would have caught this opportunity when it was announced last Wednesday. :( Are you still in...
  11. What Lug Nuts for aftermarket wheels (conical seat) + Aftermarket TPMS sensors

The Gorilla K5TS-14150BGR lug nuts arrived, same height as the McGard locks + rounded end is about 1/4" additional, looked good when setting in the wheel. Will post pictures once I get tires in 1-2 weeks.
  12. What Lug Nuts for aftermarket wheels (conical seat) + Aftermarket TPMS sensors

Update on lug nuts now that my wheels arrived... The Drag DR-67 nug nut hole recesses are bored to about 25mm (will caliper the holes when I take the wheels to the tire shop). The 21 and 22 mm non-marring sockets will not fit, meaning I have to go with a 19mm or 3/4" hex nut as that is the...
  13. What Lug Nuts for aftermarket wheels (conical seat) + Aftermarket TPMS sensors

Lug nuts! I got a set of McGard wheel locks, #24216. 4 locking lug nuts, one for each wheel. Quality stuff!!! I believe the factory lug nuts are made by McGard also. I ordered a set of White Knight 1709SabK-20AM, they are acorn factory look except they are 3/4" or 19mm hex instead of 7/8" or...
  14. What Lug Nuts for aftermarket wheels (conical seat) + Aftermarket TPMS sensors

I also like the Michelins PS4's, I got the all seasonals on my wife's Accord and my previous Trans Am I had the PS4 Summer tires, plus I can get them at Costco.
  15. What Lug Nuts for aftermarket wheels (conical seat) + Aftermarket TPMS sensors

I talked to Costco today they have TPMS sensors, they are about $48 each. They suggested that if I could bring Honda/OEM ones they would install them at no cost. I think I will order a set of Honda tpms sensors and bring them in to be on the safe side there will not be any issues. Part numbers...
  16. Rally Armor Mud Flaps now available....

Sorry to hijack, what lug nuts are you running? They look good with those wheels
  17. What Lug Nuts for aftermarket wheels (conical seat) + Aftermarket TPMS sensors

Nice, try to remember to post a pic in this thread when you install them!
  18. What Lug Nuts for aftermarket wheels (conical seat) + Aftermarket TPMS sensors

How do they look with your wheels? The 1990's in me likes the "Neo Chrome" color! The adult version of me will get the black lug nuts of course :)
  19. Alternative mud guards? vs OEM?

Not a proud photo, this was about a week after installing the mud guards in mid April and I didn't wash the car yet. This is the worst of it, you can see where the mud guard and wheel well catches the road crap.
  20. Alternative mud guards? vs OEM?

I did black, let me see if I got some pictures...
