i used the sub connection inside the enclosure. I used basically 95% of this youtube video to get this setup working.

Just here to show that putting a aftermarket amp and lc2i is doable under the trunk mat. Depending on the amp size you will need to cut the foam a bit but still not so bad. I’m powering 2 subwoofers. One in the stock enclosure from the car and another that’s a kicker down firing sub.

That’s pretty pricey for mud guards. And me personally like the look of rally armor design.
