Idle IAT will be high and that's to be expected. There's no airflow over the intake filter/duct (just hot engine bay air), there's no airflow over the intercooler, which is being heatsoaked, and most importantly, there's no appreciable airflow over the IAT sensor more generally. Those temps...
Filtration performance matters more for DI motors because the intake ports and valves don't have the benefit of being washed down (read: cleaned) with gasoline.
Had these installed a few weeks ago. Aligned well at -2* camber F/R. To be honest I wish it wasn't as low in the front, but this is still the most minimal drop out of all available springs...
A) You need to go to a different dealer
B) You need to explicitly state that you want a warranty diagnosis. This is covered under your bumper-to-bumper manufacturer warranty
C) Do not mention that you're beating on the car. If you have any modifications, stickers, anything, just remove them
D)...
I doubt it's a bearing at that mileage, but just drop the keys off at the dealer? Idk why you're stressing about this.
My guess is that a rock got stuck between the rotor and heat shield.
In general, I'm happy. The little changes on the Acura do add up to slightly better experience for me as a daily (S2000 on nice days). Materials are a bit better, the exterior design is nicer to my eyes (particularly the rear), the color palette is more interesting, and the interior is a bit...
It's actually not clear whether or not this will reduce airflow more than, for example, the PRL intercooler, which is a much more restrictive bar and plate design.
Let me know what you find re: fitment -- I'm definitely interested.
