I had made a post about this as a response to the "What did you do to your car today" thread but I figured in the event anyone was interested in this later that there's a separate thread with a little more detail.

So one of my bigger pet peeves with the car was the placement of the Gas Pedal and to me it just felt too far back in relation to the brake pedal especially compared to my Miata. I didn't realize this product existed until I randomly came across a YouTube video about it and since the part said it was compatible with the Gen 11 Civics I ordered it.

I have Acuity's shifter cable bushings installed too and have been happy with the upgrade and this piece also feels really well built and sturdy. Install was pretty easy, laying on the ground and contorting yourself toward the pedal was the worst bit (more for me being left handed and having to reach over to where the bolts were) but just unplug the connector off the top of the pedal and undo the 3 bolts (12mm) and it comes right out. Then place the adapter in place and attach the 3 bolts back on.

The Adapter itself has 3 different positions. I tried B but ended up going with C since that felt the most natural to me for pedal placement. Then just attach the pedal on using the 3 Hex Screws provided and plug the connector back in and all done! Took me about 25 minutes total including moving it from Position B to C.

It does feel a bit odd at first to muscle memory but you quickly adjust to it and this is made the car a lot comfier for me now as I don't have that feeling in my leg where I'm reaching for the gas or the brake being too close. (Your Results/Impressions may be different).

It is a little pricy at $97 but it has made the car enjoyable to drive for me more so now. This video also shows the install and how the pedal looks in all 3 positions

Let me know if there's any questions I can answer!

I can attest: the pedals are NOT set up for heel-toe shifting from the factory.

Though it was a learning curve not rev-matching, using the auto rev-match and I have never looked back. I would probably still purchase this, but it's with the auto-rev match being so good, I'm not sure if it's SUPER necessary.

Aww man, you’d think they would’ve made that a bit more important. Do you have this product or any other similar ones to be able to achieve an easier heel-toe?

I have not modified anything on my integra. The depth of the gas pedal prevented my from doing any hell toe when I tried. Maybe it's just me being used to my rx7 since I read reviews saying they are "spaced perfectly" but IMO they are not. Left-right space is good, but depth is not.

for me it was more driven by wanting It for my muscle memory. I found myself accidentally overreving my Miata or not revving the integra enough going between the cars.

I agree the rev match system is excellent and I still use it as this car is my commuter

Thanks for the in depth info!
Just before I had the 91 Integra, we test drove an 89 (or maybe 91) RX7. I definitely wanted that car more - I think I was still 16 at the time & mom said this car is way too fast for you. 😆 I was pretty pissed at the time.

Mines a 91. N/A though so only 160hp plus whatever a full exhaust adds.

Side note: I definitely should not be posting before I am caffieinated. Holy typos.

Lol! The one we test drove was a turbo manual. Black on black leather. It was an awesome car.
