Apple CarPlay Incoming Call

Anyone know if it is possible to turn down the incoming ring of a phone call, without actually turning it down beforehand on the phone?

I think the only way to control that is to turn it down on the infotainment screen, while it is actually ringing. Then, in the future it should remain lower. That seems to work for both my wife's honda and my ITS. Similarly you can adjust the volume while you are on the call and the system seems to remember that you set it lower.

If you are using an iPhone for your Apple CarPlay your phone ring volume is mirrored by the sound system. Try turning your iPhone ring volume down as well as checking the phone settings in the sound system of your car.
