Black badge mounting clips

So I finally got around to putting all the black badges on. However, while installing the rear A badge, the two white retaining clips (kinda like plastic wall anchors) stayed in the trunk lid. Two new clips were supplied. But for the life of me could not get the old ones out. They ended up going in. Does anyone know if I'll be able to remove the interior plastic to take them out? They're just rattling around in there.

Yes you can get them out if you remove the trim. Did a lot of rooting around in there swapping the Carbon fiber spoiler

Got the white clips out w/ plastic trim removal tools and needle nose pliers wrapped in tape. Just work your way around slowly.
