So many things about buying a car are awful right now (supply shortages, sales tactics, markups, interest rates, etc.), but being able to shift from one to the other at little/no cost through appreciation/limited depreciation is pretty awesome.

You can't go wrong with either car... but both might be the best way to go, if possible!

Agreed, and a rarity in today's market. I got away with bouncing from car to car for about 2 years before it all caught up to me, so I'll be staying put for a while.

As for having both- I feel I must jump in and vehemently disagree. They're far too redundant. Take that $52k and go buy something that will give a substantially different experience. A few suggestions:

Miata
M2 or M2C
E46/E92/F82 M3/4
A90 Supra
Jeep/Tacoma/off-road thingy
Miata
987 Boxster/Cayman
996 Carrera/S
Camaro SS/ZL1
C6 Z06
Miata

The list goes on, but probably a Miata.

I almost bought an ND2 in September '21. At 6' felt too tall for it too. Passenger floor has a hump which doesn't help for anyone riding along either. Tried both the RF and vert. Shame because they're a blast to drive.
