I did not. It's not that bad, but because I didn't read the description, I thought it was going to be a thin piece of CF looking plastic that fully covered the piano black piece. It isn't. It just sticks to the top of it.

Hello, piano black console! A week ago, I wrapped my center console but today I stripped it off. The wrap was lifting around the inside corners at the front of the cup holders. For now, I'll just leave it as is, but I did see that 3M has 2 products that might help if I decide to give it another shot; an edge sealer and a primer.

While I had the console out and apart, I swapped the black collar that came with my knob for a red one. I like the look.

1) What about dipping the center console instead of wrapping, either HyperDip or Plasti Dip?

That's also a good idea, but not something I thought of initially because I hate painting and suck at it. When I first saw your comment, It reminded me there is another process - hydro dipping - that might also work. I may look into that someday.

Any idea how to access the cigarette lighter? Looking to splice a footwell lighting kit from diode dynamics. It has a billion colors but I’m more interested in their pure white to help illuminate the footwells.

First time wrapping anything so it took me an hour for just the one piece. If you have questions about process, I'm happy to answer them.

Why did you change the manual transmission to CVT during the wrapping process? Seems like a lot of extra work. Plus you no longer have the best transmission.

No idea, but I imagine it shouldn't be too difficult. Here's a video of someone taking out their 2022 Civic center console to install rear vents. It might help, since the two cars are virtually similar.
