Gave up on finding a used one and picked up a new 2025 MT Integra. Everything has been great so far, but I noticed the front windows (haven't tried the backs) close pretty hard and have a thunk when they get to the top. It seems like an oddly large about of force but this is my first acura/honda so maybe this is normal? Anyone else experience this? I also noticed that it makes a thunk noise when I first put it down. Using the auto up/down.

Mine does as well. I don't know if I just got used to it or if it started to make less of a thunk after a lot of use but I think it's a little bit less of a thunk than when it was new? I'll have to check it out and pay attention later.

Same here, so you are not crazy. I've never had a car with windows that closed this hard. They haven't shattered....yet.🤞

Something similar to this is how forcefully aggressive and fast the intermittent wiper is as well!

My 2024 ITS does this and so does my wife's Odyssey and my brother's accord!

Chroma, i think you mean the "mist" wipe... like it's on drugs or something!

Just put your finger in it while it’s closing, then sue Acura for injury. That way they have to do a whole recall for it.

You think I’m being funny but it happened with the Teslas. I remember the software update for it and recall notice in the mail.

I didn't notice excessive close force on my '23, but I'll test the '24 later today
