ILX, waiting Integra Type S ( August 2023)
Went for a drive this weekend and ended up at Tail of the Dragon. ( about 350 miles away) Everywhere I stopped people would become very interested. At one point I was sitting in the car, and it was difficult to see me due to the glare. Watching people's reaction was wild! Dam, this car gets people excited. After driving on the Dragon, which was an amazing experience in itself, I was exhausted and wanted a break. When people would see the car they would come and ask about it. I finally found a place to park and be left alone. In Red, this is a definite crowd pleaser! WOW. I have never seen so much automotive lust in my life. This car needs to be parked in a garage for it's own safety.
BTW, I did an informal Hare and Hound with a Civic Type R , for the length of the Tail, and he could not get away from me. Listening to his car and mine as they screamed out of the corners was an experience I will not soon forget.

Very cool. I have yet to have someone come up and say anything.
I did get some stares from a few cops. They had a guy pulled over in the middle of the road and blocking traffic. I cut along a shopping center that was 20ft away. Of course I had it in S+ and drove slowly around the store front and two cops stared as I shifted and pops/bangs rang out.🤣

The only look I’ve noticed is my next door neighbor. He’s came over and said whoa, I think you just raised my property value. I thought that was funny. I said not so fast since it will be in the garage and nobody will see it.

Ahh if you're ever out there again hit me up. I live close by and go up there all the time. Usually I go on weeknights so I don't see many people up there.

Yeah I've noticed it gets attention too, particularly at cars and coffee where people know what it is. But even my mail lady stopped to comment how she likes it more than she liked my Boxster.

Just had someone pull up beside me asking what the car is. Said the exhaust sounds insane. It's definitely louder with the RV6 DP

I personally don't like attention, but all my vehicles for as long I can remember had SOMETHING done to it, or everything done to it, & so obviously there's no control over that there.

I've noticed a lot of looks, always turn down the exhaust when passing my local small town officers (don't want to go down that route again now that I've made amends helping many of them get in shape & some good friends are cops now 😆), a guy in a truck friendly honking at me when I was at the car wash as he passed by, & oddly enough - weirdest thing ever - a few HD trucks trying to give me the business on back roads. 🤔

The last guy was driving like a complete jerk as I was lightly playing with a Tesla - I was not getting crazy as there were many people on the road in this particular area, but THIS guy didn't seem to mind cutting me off/slowing down & not letting me over, etc - so at a 4-way stop light when we got to a less populated area, I went around to the right to get in front of him & he FLOORED it to try to cut me off again (after slowing down of course so that I couldn't pass on the left) & damn near hit me before honking as he turned off to go home. He hit the gas hard enough that he had to slam his n his brakes. Construction worker in an HD GMC diesel, which I used to also be for many years - maybe he thought I was some punk kid, I don't know, don't care - the only thing I'm always thinking is dude, you better have a weapon & know how to use it or I'll take it from you & make you remember this day for the rest of your life. Fun game! 🙄🤣 Sorry, I had to get this out of my system somewhere as it's been on my mind & I might run into him again.

Excited for some car shows this month with the family before winter!
