Seat Belt Tensioner - Weak Retraction

I did a quick search and didn't see anything, but that's not to say I've done any research at all on this issue. Does anyone know if the seat belt retraction can be adjusted at all? When I take off my seat belt, I have to sort of hand feed it back so the belt doesn't hang out when I open the door. No issues otherwise, it feels normal when I put it on and while I'm wearing it. But for some reason it seems like it doesn't have enough strength to pull the belt back tight against the pillar when I take it off.

Again, I have spent more time writing this post than I have on actual troubleshooting. Thanks for your time.
