Hi, so there are little to no changes in the hp numbers (bc its a safe tune) but there are changes in the torque and responsiveness of the vehicle? Also do you think it would work similar with the cvt? I'm still kinda new to the tuning world and trying to learn as much as I can about it.

There's changes to tq and hp but the changes really kick in more in the low to mid range which is why I believe the 30-70 times were much better.
Acura Integra Stock vs Stage 1 Tune. 30-70 & 40-80 Tested 18psi_vs_Stock

If you take a look at ktuners graph the tq and hp start to diminish around 5500 rpm which means for everyday driving the tune is going to be noticeable but after 5500rpm the tune will sorta feel similar to stock. The cvt will behave just the same but in nutshell a tune even at 18psi will increase power and driveability especially in the low to mid range

Also if you are going to use 18psi, I highly recommend you put boost target ramp rate at improved level 2 and enjoy even more low-end tq and hp and consistent power all the way to redline

The tune increases hp and tq. Also, apples to apples, the cvt is quicker by a hair in all metrics, 0-60, 30-70, etc. whether it’s stock or tuned.
