I just changed mine with Redline MT75w80 GL4. Definitely a bit smoother with shifting. My car only has about 5k miles. Took 2.5qts before fluid started to come out. It was a pain to remove the air box, but very doable.

2.5 is a lot, did you have the front of the car elevated?

I thought so too but I figured maybe dude let it drain for a long ass time? Cuz usually it’s like 2-2.25 no?

No, my cat was leveled.

I did let it drain a long time. I was also changing my oil at the same time.
