I've always been more function than form so, I try to go as light as I can on wheels/tires. I would have to imagine wider tires and wider wheels add weight and thus harm efficiency, but the difference between 8.5 and 9.5 weights and 245/265 weight wouldn't be high enough to sway me away from the latter of each. I like a balance of form and function these days :)

Some wheels do generally look better in 19" or 18" as well. I saw someone mention earlier that SW388/Regamasters look better in 18 vs 19, and I agree. So that's also a consideration.

But I'm willing to concede a little extra weight for a proper stance, at least to my tastes.

And since I made that post, I've looked at other wheels and honestly, I'm really digging Advan TC-4s and the much more expensive GT Beyond in Racing Copper. I fear I have found the wheel I'll have to save up to get, but they look really good in the renderings I've had made since seeing those for the first time, with the deeper copper tone against Liquid Carbon paint.

I still love CR Kiwami, but I think the cleaner lines of a 5 spoke suit the Teg A-Spec better; not sure I feel the same on the more aggressive ITS lines.

And on a much happier note, my new-to-me Integra LCM 6MT is on a delivery truck bound for my house. Just got a 2023 with 22k on it, last week, about 3.5 hours away from me through CarGurus.

All those wheels you mentioned: are they 18" or 19"?

I'm strictly looking at 18 x 9.5 options. But I also get very good deals on wheels through work, just not brands like Advan, Work, and those sorts of JDM options.

Seems kind of silly not to get wheels at cost when I can...

Ok, I came across another thread that mentioned Curva Concept wheels, and found this:

those cars with wider 18s in that blog look badass, and they retain some "meatiness" to the sidewalls by staying with 18".... so it's gonna be a tough decision for me, ha!
Similar to what I did with mine. I just put a set of 18x9 ET45 Sparco FF3s on my DE4 with 245/40s. Haven't gotten a pic yet (because UPS dropped them off after dark last night and it was still dark when I drove it to work this morning - couldn't wait), but they brought the wheels/tires out MUCH closer to flush over the stocks. Didn't want to run 19's because it's essentially a commuter car for me, and roads here suck.

I just got these yesterday, 18x8.5 +45mm OZ Estremas, with 245 tires, and I didn't think they'd sit flush enough in the front (I know the rears are more tucked regardless) but to me, they sit exactly where I wanted, and I may do a simple 10mm spacer in the rear (I definitely won't do spacers on the front on a FWD car, just personal preference):

I do plan to lower about 1" with H&R springs, but that'll be it.
