Whining sound…

While cruising on the freeway at 65 mph, I noticed that there's a slight whining sound that I hear whenever I accelerate or change lanes from 65 mph to 69 mph in 6th gear. It's between those speeds is where the whining sound occurs. Past that (Accelerating from 70 mph to 75 mph in 6th gear) does not produce the whining sound. Car still pulls strong and it doesn't happen on 4th or 5th gear. Only on 6th.

Is this slight whine normal for the k20c?

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
