I was looking at the Brembo brakes on the concept and realized something.
MDX concept had the front brake set up taken straight out of a Type S, so they might have done the same thing for the Integra concept, too.
The wheels on the concept are painted A spec wheels, right? And That's 5X114.3.
Honda/Acura use 5x120 wheels on higher performance cars with 300+hp.

I'd think the Type S would start at higher than 37K, but maybe not. I would be very compelling if it does.

I don’t think that it’ll start higher then 37k either. I think if they make a lightweight package it could come to $38.5k the highest.

I wonder if they will try and stay under what the R MSRP's at or will they try and come in higher.

I've been giving thought to the whole pricing scheme Acura might be leaning towards. The base integra is supposed to be around 30K but I know destination is something that we don't really factor in. Since the Civic Touring is around 30,900, I think they'll price the base integra the same, bringing the total to around 32K (1,100 destination). The Civic Touring has the better screen and amentities than the base integra so it makes a bit of sense. The A Spec coming in around $33,500-$34000 means it'll be around $35K with destination

What could this be?

CTR LE topped out at 180mph, could this new CTR hit 192mph?

You know the folks at the Honda Plant in OH are like "We need a couple weeks off..." LOL When it comes to the Civic it's been gangbusters.... Car of the year, hatchback is in sought after demand and the SI like every generation is getting marked up 5, 10, 20K.

Hopefully that success trickles down to the Integra and we are entering a renaissance age like the mid to late 90's for Honda/Acura
I can see the CTR getting a high 280+ HP engine and the ITS getting the same.

As the world begins really migrating over to EV, we get one last spark of Japanese Mugen love!

Last gen CTR had 306 stock, this gen is speculated to have 320-330.

I think Type R will come in around $39-$41k.
I agree. The integra being more than the Si I think makes people thing the ITS will be more than the CTR. But the base integra is nicer than the Si. Hence the higher cost. The type r on the other hand is the better trim over type s. So the ITS should be under the CTR in cost.

Also I recently saw and can’t remember where, but it showed the base integra at 28k. That would still be “around 30” a lot of people interpreted that as at 30 or a little more. But why not a little less? Then the aspec is 30-31 and the tech is 33-34. That would align with the “mid 30’s” they told redline reviews for the tech. And then allow for about 4-5k premium on the type s.

I dont see the R as a "better trim," I see the S as possibly being R + creature comforts/higher daily drivability, which would mean that S would cost more.

If you want the version that can race and be an okay driver get the R, if you want the great drive that can also race, get the S. At least that would be my hope.

I hope Acura sees it that way was well.

This is the exact answer I am looking for. If the Type S has the R drivetrain, power and more creature comforts I'm sold.

The issue is that the Type S can’t have the exact same drivetrain as R. Reason that it can’t is because Honda doesn’t allow anything to have the Type R engine. I’m not talking about detuned versions of the same engine I’m talking about 1:1 of the same engine in a different vehicle. Type R will have a ton of mechanical upgrades to it that the S won’t get which if you think about it drives up the overall cost of the R because R&D. I just don’t see the S being higher then R in both pricing and power. Not only that, the S is said to get an Automatic and a manual, if Honda allowed the S to have the same 2.0t and mechanical aspects they would just be eating up the CTR’s sales even if one is track focused.

You’re describing an ITR, which is not what the ITS will be. So Acura will probably come up with something less than what we expect. Acura will not introduce a Type S with more than 100+ hp than the base (200 hp). It’ll either be 252 hp (from the Accord) or 272 hp (from the base TLX, best case but long shot).

The 2.0 from the Accord with 272 and AWD would be a dream come true.

I know it won't be the exact engine as the R gives up some smoothness and quietness in favor of power and Acura would go the other way around.
