You don't actually need the rivet gun tool. It’s a little bit more involved than I thought since you have to use a rivet gun/tool.

It ended up being really easy.
Remove the weather stripping, then there are 4 clips holding the trim piece in place. They are oriented vertically and point down, and are all spaced pretty evenly along the tip of the trim piece. I bought the cargo organizer and really love it for grocery/shopping bags. easy to install and can collapse when not in use.I'm having trouble with stuff rolling around in the back. Has anybody put in a cargo net? It doesn't look like there is one from Acura, would the Civic hatchback one fit?
