So, I reached out to my local dealer yesterday (outside vancouver proper) and they told me they have "over order" and ITS will be limited production.
just few months ago they only had 4 people in line lol.
I guess im SOL and will see if I will get my allocation from Honda.
Buddy I live in Vancouver too….which dealer you have asked that ITS is limited ?

It’s hard to believe that ITS will be limited….🤔….Never heard from any other Acura dealer saying this…..I mean if they aren’t getting enough allotment this year….they can commit you for next year……Or may be your dealer has latest information!!! Who knows!!….Have you tried at any other dealership?
I can ask my salesperson for you…he is very nice person

Hey guys, new to the party here. I've been on the Civic forum a while.
Called several dealers here in Ontario when the news came out for the summer release of the ITS. The first 2 said there were already 3-4 ahead of me, the third said I was second in line (first claimed a white one) and I could put a deposit for thier 1st LCM or Black. They asked for 1k down, I signed a bill of sale pending MSRP (if it's above what I can afford, they will refund deposit no questions asked.) But- they added wheel and tire protection, plus obd anti-theft. I asked the sales lady (who seemed genuine, trust me I've haggled a lot of shady sales ppl and thier managers in the past) if I could remove thier add ons in place of other accessories. She said absolutely, as long as they add up to roughly the same amount as the wheel and tire protection plus obd anti theft-sales manager wouldn't have a problem. So we agreed on msrp plus about $800 in accessories. The ceramic coating and ppf will cover that! This particular dealer said Acura has allocated 4 units for them from summer until the end of the year.
I'm excited. Didn't want to wait 2 years for a Type R, and tbh I don't like the wing. Being 43, with kids, my wife would give me a hard time about that spoiler. Plus, I definitely prefer the look and styling of the ITS, and that exhaust note (the current leaks all have it revving with a soft limiter, I'm sure in gear, at high rpms it will sound really good). Looking forward to May 11th! I think that's when pricing will be revealed. You guys think that's true?
Hello my friend………I noticed that dealer was asking for tire protection and obd anti-theft in the form of mark up/add on which you negotiated and converted to Accessories.
Are they charging you Acura dealership fees for paperwork?
Mine is charging $700 for that plus add ons for tire rim protection and key fob replacement worth $1000 on top of it

This will be interesting. With the TLX Type S under 65k you would think the integra would be mid 50k
I am expecting MSRP of CTR + 10%+/-, there are many things missing of the ITS from the CTR and it makes no sense to price it near the TLX.

The industry is already bad the way it is. We need to discourage bundle selling, I'd say do the right thing and drop the dealers who force these kind of shit on. This is just morally wrong. While no dealers that I dropped deposit on were willing to tell me what kind of things they will charge, I did tell them I am taking my deposit if there are bundle selling involved at the end.

Let's be real here, even PPF and ceramic coats from the dealers are from the lowest of the bin for maximize profits. My parents were talked into PPF and ceramic coat at Toyota. The PPF is the type that leaves a huge gap, has some lints at certain spot; the ceramic coat is from DiamondKoat. Let's just say after a winter, the ceramic coat is pretty much gone and there are dirts along the edges of the PPF. We brought the car back to the dealer since it's "lifetime warranty" for the PPF and ceramic coat - you guys can guess we were pretty much shown the door once we tried to ask them to clean the PPF and re-apply the coat.

I let my detailer did the ceramic coat and PPF, it's still holding up well. Quality matters.

Hey brother,
No, there is no charge added for paperwork or dealership fees. Everything they added to BOS on top of msrp are
1. Acura Tire and Rim 24 months $399.00
2. OBD Lock & Wheel locks $389.00
3. Air Conditioning Tax and Recovery $100.00
4. Truck tire levy $23.10
5. Freight $1,375.00
6. Omvic fee $10.00
7. PDI $1,000.00

I completely agree with you, but I'm not sure Acura is Toyota when it comes to honoring agreements. Acura has a name to uphold. Ceramic coating comes with a 10 year warranty through the dealer. If I had the extra cash, I'd bring it to a professional.. but to be honest I'd rather the cost go into the payment and hope they honor the warranty. A lot of the time, it depends on the dealer as well. I had a '99 Prelude that burned a lot of oil. First dealer I brought it to told me that was normal and showed me the door. The next Honda dealer did an oil consumption test, and rebuilt the engine.

What TLX?

Tlx Type S is 64K...

Personally is still think 55or 56k max...

Acura needs to increase sales badly and this type of car has more margins...

I don’t know I agree it’s available rather than unobtainable but price still seems steep for what you get. The FL5 is still an icon and I can justify its price point. This I don’t know… definitely on the fence now.

I wrote may still… i’m definitly on the fence now… but at least our price is better than the US one… they are at 51 995$ … which means a 8000$ jump over the FL5 … not worth it IMO
