From the Type-S press release:
Heated front Sport seats with perforated Ultrasuede® inserts and firmer seat bolsters better hold the body during high-G cornering.
I want to put a Type-S driver's seat in my A-spec, just need to track down the P/N and make sure it's compatible. I would appreciate any info you guys can find as well.

It's your money... but the Type-S and A-Spec + Tech front seats are almost indistinguishable... you should sit in one before you spend too much time/money hunting down a replacement.

Sadly, Honda/Acura don't sell replacement seats, you have to buy each component and have someone assemble it. Same goes for the rear seat. Your best bet is a junkyard eventually or finding someone selling theirs.
