I feel like the Integra is a special case and should be grouped with Honda since it's heavily based on the Civic and is more similar to other Hondas than other Acuras.

Edit: that said, I bet the subpar dealer experiences we all have heard about (especially with the ITS) have helped drive those numbers down (not sure whether or not that is factored in).
J.D. Power Quality and Reliability ratings are a combination of quality and dependability scores. Quality scores are based on initial owner response and feedback of their new purchase whereas Dependability scores focus on longer-term ownership experiences of 3 years

Owners response and feedback regarding the new car experience are important factors. I think this is why we all receive so many surveys after purchasing vehicles. I agree that the Acura dealer experience is subpar for what is considered a Luxury brand. Dealerships are not so accommodating compared to other luxury brands. Customer service is similar to that of Honda, from my experience. The dealership environment is just OK. I did not feel Wowed by my purchasing experience.

Agree I was expecting more from a typical Honda dealer.

In the other hand I went to a Volvo Dealer a year ago and we were wowed.
We were dressed up like we can only own a 90s rusty beater.
The guy without hesitating grabbed the keys of the C40 and let us drive it. Try that now with a CTR or ITS.

TOTALLY different scenario. CTR/ITS are limited production models; they wouldn't let me drive a 2002 WRX when it first arrived in showrooms back then either...

Acura Integra Initial ownership happiness by brand... goddamn-joe-dirt

It's going to vary from dealer to dealer. My experience with my local dealer was pretty damn good.

Well a C40 back then wasn't a vehicle that was accesible either. Hard to find them with long wait times. 🤷‍♂️
