Dang, I guess it isnāt always a software issue thenā¦ sorry to hear that this is happening to you.
I still wonder though if the software fix maybe isnāt well known yet or something but Iād assume your dealer would have learned about it as they troubleshooted the issue.
Chiming in here to say that this issue was pretty sudden and unexpected for me too.
The car had been parked in an underground/heated parking garage for hours and the issue presented itself when I was heading home and simply driving through the city at a normal pace (not driving spiritedly).
If...
Thanks! I hope things hold out for you too!
So far, so good on my end. Only about a couple weeks since the fix was done though, so time will tell. I'm at around 2400 miles right now.
This should just need the software fix I mentioned I got a few posts back. If so, it'll be a simple fix and hopefully a permanent one!
Though at this point I'm wondering why the update wasn't applied prior to delivery... maybe because it's not a full recall but only a TSB?
I'd be concerned if...
A quick heads up: The update is ready and was applied to my car yesterday. Not sure if your issue was the same as mine, but maybe this update will help? Your dealer should know more.
It was frustrating to have to wait for what felt like a long time for the update, but the dealer and service...
Update on my end: My car got the software update today. Not sure if it's only for the Type S or if it can be applied to all Integras though.
Invoice references service bulletin 22-100 and notes, "PERFORMED CMP SENSOR LEARN AND IN VTC LEARNING VALUE CLEAR TO CORRECT. TEST DROVE VEHICLE AFTER...

My car has made two loud pings from the front end as I've slowed to a stop since I got it. I was worried that maybe there's wrong with the suspension or something, but now that you two mention it, I wonder if somehow a stuck pebble or rock just shot out from the brake shield or otherwise got...
The ITS is probably the most responsive driver's car I've personally ever driven. It gets a lot of deserved praise from journalists and reviewers on YouTube too.
That said, there have been some issues documented that some have experienced:
Sudden set of warnings lights may appear (rev...
This is the first time I've heard about the car also having issues starting when this problem comes up. Based on what I've heard from the dealership, they're saying that Acura will have a software fix for this issue this month.
Otherwise, in the meantime: Protocol is to reset the codes and not...
On the spectrum of grand tourer on one end and pure sports car on the other, neither car is too far to either end, but the TLX Type S seems to lean more towards GT while the ITS leans more pure sports car. Just my $0.02 anyway.
If I needed to take a 5 hour road trip somewhere, the TLX Type S is...
Yeah, I've asked the dealer to look at it. I did read some have had the button assembly replaced and it seems to have resolved the issue. It really caught me by surprise when I first noticed it though!
Aside from what others have mentioned, a couple other issues:
If you wash your car when it's cold out, water may get in or around the trunk release button and freeze. This will prevent you from opening the trunk even if you use the key fob button to unlock it. There's something about the...
Well, based on the latest I've heard, we may all soon be driving without worrying about this issue. Word is the fix will be ready in February, though it's not clear when during that month it will be.
Edit: To be clear, this may only be for the ITS. I don't know about other trims where this...
Apart from the oddball issues I've had with the car so far, it's easily one of my favorites that I've ever had! Drives really nicely and plenty fast for public roads. The car's feedback to the driver is incredible.
For those who are curious, these are the issues:
Emissions / rev match /...
Quick update:
I picked up my car this morning. Code was reset, but no other action taken at this time.
According to another ITS owner in the thread for this issue in the broader Integra issues subforum (linked below), Acura has instructed dealerships to not replace any parts for now while they...
Just got the car back this morning! Great to be driving it again, but there is unfortunately that nagging thought in the back of my head that the issue could rear its ugly head again.
That said, I believe the dealership did everything they could. This is really in Acura's hands now to determine...
Thanks for the update! I think I'll give my dealer a call this afternoon and see what's up then. If Acura didn't require the dealer to hold your car, I'm not sure why mine is being held.
I'm concerned about waiting without my car because it could be weeks or months before a fix comes through...
