Thanks for the update! I also hope the number of affected vehicles is small. I'm still concerned it will take a while for a fix to come through.
It sounds like you'll be getting your car back, if you haven't already. Can you please confirm when you get your car back or if your dealer ends up...
Sorry to hear that this has also happened to you. My car has been at the dealership since Jan. 3rd while they wait for Acura to get the software update out that should resolve this.
I wish I could at least have my car while we wait for this fix. The dealership reset the codes and it drives...
We'll see! I unfortunately won't get my car back until the fix is done though, which leaves me feeling a bit dissatisfied with Acura because they aren't being forthcoming with even an estimate on when that will be (so far). The dealership has been good through this at least.
I shared this update in the ITS-specific thread, but for those who don't wander over there, here's the latest update I have in my particualr situation: My car threw code P0011 and Dealership has had my car for just over a week. The dealership indicated that the Acura techline rep confirmed that...
Well, the dealership still has my car. Dropped off last week on Wednesday, so they've had it about a week so far.
Latest update I have is that the Acura techline rep confirmed that Acura is aware of the issue and they are actively working on a software update, which may be news to many.
I hope...
This happened to my ITS a few days before New Year's too. I posted in the thread in the ITS section of the forums documenting this issue: https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/cel-under-900-miles.51459/
No resolution yet for me. Dealership kept the car over the weekend because they...
Dropped off the car yesterday morning and they kept it overnight. Latest update today is that they'll need to hang onto the car longer while they consult the techline. No leading theories on the issue yet.
Seems a bit extreme at this juncture... I hope it doesn't get to that, obviously.
Edit:
After doing more research, this seems to have been happening to FL5 Civic Type R owners too: https://www.civicxi.com/forum/threads/fl5-emission-and-rev-matching-system-problem-p0011.51214/
Seems a...
This just happened to me. My car only has 2179 miles on it. 😭
My ITS suddenly threw errors for emissions, rev match, road departure mitigation, and adaptive cruise control. I wasn't doing anything except coasting down the street as I was driving around earlier today.
The car went into limp...
I've had my car for a few months now, but I thought I'd share to provide another data point for how someone may go about this and how long they may wait:
Q1/Q2 2023: Knew the ITS was coming, wasn't sure if I wanted it, but then the reviews came out and I was impressed at how they were almost...
Are these failing expansion tanks typically on earlier/launch models before a certain build date? I wonder if maybe there was a bad batch or if a revised part number has come out since then. I haven't checked mine yet, but I'll try to remember to tonight and I'll report back here with build date...
Torque spec on wheel lug nuts is 94 lb-ft. I had this same question earlier, but it was several pages back (I don't blame anyone for not looking through this entire thread for just this piece of info)...
These look better than I thought they would based on the rendered pics! They're not as "loud" as I thought they'd be and I like the dark grey text option as that seems to be the most subtle.
I have the OEM guards on my car now, so I'm not in a hurry to get these. I'm interested to see real-life...
~1100 miles after about 2 months with the car. Averaging mid-20s MPG for gas mileage. About 15-20% better than my TLX! Real test will be how those numbers will look as we get deeper into the winter with winter formulations for gas, etc.
Looks nice! How does it do with the big camera bump on the back of iPhones? I assume the magnets will still hold the phones in place decently enough, but any issues with the camera pump propping up the phone and preventing it from sitting flush with the magsafe charger? Or does the charger stick...
Appreciate the input (from you and others)!
I remounted each wheel and was extra thoughtful about each step, checking for any looseness, etc. and still had the initial morning bumpiness. I really do think it's just flatspotting overnight and the temperature swings we're seeing + winter compound...
I think this review from the Smoking Tire might've sold a lot of ITSes. I was kinda on the fence, but this is one of the reviews (among many I saw/read) that stood out in making a strong case for the car.
Yeah, the ITS has some torque steer, but it's very manageable. I'm surprised at how much attention the torque steer is getting. I'd probably rate it maybe a 2 or a hesitant max of 3 on the scale of 0 being "non-existent" to 10 being "this thing will yank you across the interstate into opposing...
Hmm... seems it would be prudent for me to double check everything then. I think I'll go as far as re-mounting each wheel and see how things go from there.
If the issue persists, then it seems it may be a balance issue. Hopefully that's the worst it gets anyway. Though it wouldn't explain why...
Your comment on DSW (or is it DWS? Whatever - same three letters anyway haha) leads me to believe that the softer compound probably makes the flatspotting more prominent (which would make sense), but I may jack up each corner and check things are tight just in case.
I just don't remember...
