Finally my AWE Touring Exhaust installed last week - took about 2.5 hours (used a lift), pretty straight forward.
OEM exhaust sounds good. But this exhaust is way better and there is little to no drone. It's pretty tame inside the cabin. Only annoying thing is you get a loud change in tone...
I'm in a pretty similar situation. Decided exhaust was the next step and lowering springs. Car is pretty great straight out the box. Hoping AWE finishes building my exhaust and H&R springs come in soon!
As far as down pipe is concerned, based on what I've read it does alter the sound in a...
Love the CE28s, was searching for examples on here of those rocking them and found yours. Saw you aren't rocking them anymore - any reason you decided to move on from it or was it purely aesthetics? From Houston also, sent you a follow on IG!
Couldn't agree more. I cross shopped with a Supra also because of how fun it drives but couldn't imagine not having cargo space. Type-R was out of the question with the stupid mark-ups. Golf R infotainment system is terrible. The Type-S was an easy choice at MSRP, relative to other options.
Installed PRL's high volume intake. Took me over 5 hours... but definitely learned while tinkering with the car! Also gave it a much needed wash!
Will be posting my build and progress on IG: @thatsriskybro

Not going to reinvent the wheel here, plenty of...
First set of goodies. Plan on installing tomorrow. If you're on IG, I'll be posting content on the vehicle. Would love to connect with other owners.

OP based on your location, makes sense you're getting that sound. I live in a humid environment and have the same noise too. I honestly didn't think anything of it, keep us posted if the dealer service ends up fixing that.
Welp this didn't last long.... just ordered AWE touring exhaust and PRL HVI. Wanted to do H&R springs but going to hold off until I decide on a pair of new wheels. OEM ones look great IMO so not really eager to change out for now.
Yeah idk about 3k below but I think around MSRP is reasonable! Agreed it may be tricky with So-Cal market (San Diego native) so totally understand. Houston dealers aren't too far off from the So-Cal insanity but there are those that'll work with you out there. Hope Glendale works out for you...
Agreed pretty crappy... I personally wouldn't pay mark-up on any ITS. Especially with 2025 model release, I know there is inventory on 24's just sitting you can probably get at or below MSRP. For reference, I got my '24 ABP at MSRP last month with 500 in add-ons (negotiated down on items I...
Another Houstonian! We need to do a local coffee meet up for ITS owners in here. Agreed regarding mileage.
Had a TSX Wagon a few years ago that my brother now drives, almost 200k and still runs like a champ. Burns oil like no tomorrow but nothing an occasional oil top-off can't fix ;)
Not sure if this is the right place to post so feel free to remove and advise where I can repost.... BUT what are some of the highest mileage examples of the ITS out there? I've had mine about a month now and have already put on 2k miles. I plan on doing first oil change around 3k-5k and 2nd at...
