Uh oh, this is a big problem. Search the 11th gen Civic forums for how prevalent "sticky steering" is on those cars. I was hoping it wouldn't be an issue on the Integra, but this seems to be the first report. Almost all Civic owners who have experienced this had it start a few thousand miles...
Do not pay more for a Civic than the Integra, you will get additional features like the ELS radio which seems important to you.
Coming from a Benz, take an extensive look at the car and make sure you are okay with the interior materials. It will certainly have a lower cost to own (fuel...
Both my Porsche and Lexus not only can you turn the headlights off, but you can also turn off the DRLs. I actually don't think they are mandatory in the US but I could be wrong.
Yes, I don't even want to give this video a click. However, if the lighting quirk is that there is no way to turn them off, then I agree. The stalk says off but even turning to that choice doesn't turn off my auto headlights. Very bizarre!!
I totally agree - the TLX looks either too wide, too low, or both. It's an awkward looking car. It's also too long for my preference, combined with too small an interior.
The Z and similar Infinitis have some of the worst manual transmissions. The Integra Type S might have the best one. I think it will be a much more special car than any TLX.
The first gen TSX was magic - I was really hoping the new Integra would be similar. I think the Integra drives just as good, but the materials are definitely a step below the TSX. I still miss my 07 6MT which I sold in Feburary 2021.
Well at least they know what they should have offered on the top model to begin with! Other than sunshades, I would have wanted and paid reasonable amounts for all of these.
I did a reservation, although backed out from that dealer due to ADM, but haven't gotten a survey. Maybe only...
I have the same exact issue trying to set up AcuraLink. Let me know if you get it resolved and I'll do the same.
Sorry this happened to you on a brand new car!
More notchy than my '07 TSX with 185,000 miles on it, but still the best manual out there. It's the main reason I went with the Integra over the new Z, WRX, 86, GLI/GTI etc.
However, the OPs issue seems like something more than notchiness. For instance, I have no issues engaging reverse gear...
Thanks for this background, as I also feel the new gen TLX is too big outside, small inside, to consider. I actually prefer the prior gen for solely this reason.
