We have 2 A Spec Techs in the family, a CVT and 6MT. If you are even thinking about it, make sure you go for the stick. It is that much more fun. Additionally, it is a very easy manual on which to learn, and does include hill start assist. I like the rev matching, but maybe that's because I...
I have a 6MT and my son has the A Spec Tech CVT. While both great, the fun to drive delta is way more than $5,000 to me.
While we didn't have any snow this season in Philadelphia, my 6MT definitely grips in corners better. Also, I believe the 6MT will hold greater resale value. Go for the...
I agree these the Golf R is the closest to the Type S in practice. And the VW also seems to be a better deal, although the Honda transmission and steering feel are probably more my speed. I wish the Integra had the feature set and pricing of the Golf R.
Anyone getting lots of dirt/debris of the scooped sections on the side of your Integra?
Everytime I wash it this section requires extra work. I've never experienced this with another car. Our Macan has side blades which are another issue, but don't seem to get as dirty.
Macanforum is another good website. BTW, we LOVE our 2018 Macan S. If you don't need the space, I'd highly recommend. The X3 M40 is the only thing even close in terms of overall package.
Honestly, I was ambivalent about losing the sunroof from my 6MT. With this price, I'm out.
I'll either go for a 6MT Supra/Z, M3 or keep my current Integra which I love.
The pricing on the Type S makes the Golf R seem like a bargain - I just don't like the styling or VW.
Got it, thanks for the additional background. When I got my regular Integra 6MT last summer, Elite and Turnersville were the ones in our area not doing markups. You might want to check with Turnersville also if you are looking for a reasonable Type S.
The automatic headlight function is my biggest complaint with this car. It's absurd you can never turn them off, and the sensor seems to turn them on everytime the front of my car is not pointed directly at the midday sun.
I think I've finally figured out what is behind this scenario. If my key fob and iPhone are in the same pants or jacket pocket, the smart access system will not lock or unlock my car. If I move one of the items, it subsequently works.
Has anyone else experienced this?
The seats in my Integra A-spec Tech heat up nicely, better than other Japanese cars I've owned. I was attributing this to the suede.
My European cars get hotter than the Integra. It could be a function of other cars you are used to.
Are you experiencing the same temperature on both seats?
