So Acura Financial Services is still running 4.9% APR for "well qualified" buyers on 2023 Integras thru 5 July in the States. I was over at my dealer yesterday and asked, "theoretically, what rate would a guy w/ an 800 credit score on a 48mo loan? Would it be close to that 4.9%?"

In not so many words he suggested that I should be shopping around for financing. If any of you financed your new Type S through Acura Finance and have a credit score over 750, can I ask what rate you got and what the term is? I'm still waiting for my TEP to arrive and want to have a baseline.

My local credit union is offering 4.74% 37-60 months.

EDIT: Sorry, just realized you are asking specifically through Acura's finance. Carry on.

The Type S is a 2024, right? So it wouldn't qualify for that Acura rate.

Without a special financing rate, credit union is the way to go.

Correct.. hopefully it's added when the current promotion ends. But my guess the Type S will be excluded

Correct. And, my dealer also informed me the Type S doesn’t qualify.

Correct. The Type S is not a 2023 and thanks for your guidance. Hopefully someone will actually answer my question, however.

I used CommonWealthOne and they offered 3.65% for 36 months. Can't use it until I have the purchase order tho

Acura doesn’t offer any promotions for the Type S, but they are more than able to match/beat your bank/credit union. My credit union didn’t have rates as stellar as some of the others (66/5.19) but finance matched/beat through Acura and offered me 5.04 which is only 5 basis points over the other offers. It will depend how much said finance dept wants to work with you because obviously they have spread targets and do not want to discount if they don’t have to.

Thank you for this...It's been about 7yrs since I last financed a car. Just trying to cover all the bases, especially since I just got the call that my TEP arrived at the dealer an hour ago.

And I got Acura FS down to just 5.04% as well.
