I went ahead and bought it and installed it today. It's all good and the discount code COVE20 still works as of today. See details here: https://www.integraforums.com/forum/threads/installed-mishimoto-expansion-tank-today.52383/post-884834.
I installed it today. It looks just like the Mishimoto tank except finished in gloss black powder coat. It weighs 38.6 ounces (including supplied cap) and appears to be made from aluminum (it's non-magnetic). It's nicely made with clean welds. The cap that comes with it says 19 psi / 1.3 bar...
Lower cost alternative? Has anyone tried one of these: https://flasharkracing.com/products/2017-2021-honda-civic-type-r-aluminum-coolant-reservoir-degas ? $139.99 -20% (coupon code COVE20) = $111.99 shipped free, no sales tax. Thought I would ask before I pull the trigger.

This makes sense since mine is #1789, purchased on 11/19/23. Production date was 10/23 and the dealer said I got it 3 days after it arrived on their lot.
Nice seat! I have a Pole Position (replica) in my S2000 and the seat belt rides up on my neck because I'm short. I got one of these on Ali Express for less than $4 and it works great. Just look for "seat belt guide".
My thoughts as well, but I think the recall notice will show up in a Carfax report, which will also show if you got it fixed or not (could be a problem when selling the car). But maybe you can get a free wheel alignment. See this post for more details.
+1 on that! But maybe there's an extra benefit to this. Did anyone notice in the Service Bulletin posted by @jayy_swish, Step 24 is "Do a wheel alignment". So if you have future plans that may require a wheel alignment, maybe you can get it at no extra cost?
Can we get this repair on our...
Anti-seize is applied to threads, to prevent galling and also inhibits corrosion. It's good practice to apply it (sparingly) to wheel studs so the nuts will come off easily even after being left on for long periods of time. Reduce torque values by 20 to 30% compared to dry torque specs.
Here's...
As you tighten the flat-faced lug nuts against the raised conical seats of the wheel, the seats will distort (flatten) and the holes will get slightly smaller. If you tighten too much it could distort a seat enough to get locked onto the stud, preventing you from removing the wheel from the hub...
You can use Jam Nuts on top of the Flange Nuts for extra security, as I stated in this post.
Re: BMW and other German cars use lug bolts - The lug nuts that fit the spare tire wheel are for 12mm studs, our studs are 14mm. So I thought why not machine down some 14mm lug nuts to fit in the 12mm...
I agree 100%, but I didn't want the blue tint so I bought and installed this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0BQ78T4LT
I'm very happy with it, and it's only $30! The curvature is exactly the same as your passenger side mirror, which I find also helps when backing up. The mirror's optical...
Excuse me for reviving an old thread, but perhaps I can offer some peace of mind to those concerned about this (I was). I've been researching this for 2 months now and was told by two different techs at Honda In-Car Technology Support (888-528-7876) that the ITS does not have a TCU (Telematics...
Very interesting article - Thanks for sharing. It sounds like it uses changes in dynamic ride height for brake vectoring and is probably feedback loop controlled, so it should be adaptive with respect to changes in static ride height.
Is brake vectoring (aka Agile Handling Assist) completely...
I run the same drain plug in my S2000 - That looks pretty normal. But was the black stuff smooth or gritty when rubbed between your fingers? Smooth is fine, gritty not so good. Looking forward to seeing the lab report.
Yes, after further investigation I agree. More details for those interested:
I asked @jayy_swish if it might be possible to disable VSA by powering off the Yaw Sensor (as is commonly done on 350/370Z's) with a simple on/off switch.
His reply:
So I was doing research on where the yaw rate...
