That’s good to know! I like the maintenance minder, I think now that I figured out how to update individual items I feel better about it. I like to do certain services at the dealership and more routine stuff either myself or at my local spots.
Got ya, yes I believe in the manual it’s 30k for transmission fluid fill. Thanks!
id imagine the maintenance minder should indicate when this becomes due, would anyone happen to know if it does?
Thanks!
I bought some filters/wipers and will change myself around 12k. I found out how to update individual items. Next service is going to be A1 and I will likely do at Honda dealer since it’s closer. I’d like to use OEM brake pads in case they need replacing by then. Prices are competitive...
Hello,
I just had my cars first service at the dealer.
I’m at 9800 miles and wondering:
if I change out the Cabin and Engine air filters around 12,000 is there a way to update the maintenance minder so that when I get to the 15,000 mile mark my next service won’t ask for doing that again...
For something like this should it definitely be covered under warranty? I had nothing to do with this obviously. I’m just worried when I bring it in it’s going to be warm and then not show any problems.
Interesting, I’m using the remote as well, assuming you mean the key. It makes a little noise as if it’s trying to unlock but the latch won’t move.
I’m hoping it can warm up so any liquid will evaporate but it’s looking like below freezing for the next week!
My trunk won’t open. Anyone experiencing this? It feels like the button won’t depress. When it warmed up it opened but next morning it’s back to frozen.
Thank you for the helpful response! Is 25,000 for CVT fluid very early? I’m used to transmission fluid being around 50-70k, but if that’s what it needs I’ll do it. Just seems early compared to my other CVT transmissions.
Hi all, I’ll likely hit 15k miles next summer. I see it says to change out differential fluid/gear oil at 15k .
Does anyone know how much that runs at most Acura and/or Honda dealers?
Forgive me for my ignorance but I thought that service is for AWD vehicles and wouldn’t apply for the...
Thanks for your great reply. One thing I’ve never done is request OEM pads from my local mechanics. I’m not sure they’d be able to get them and I will definitely ask since I know Acura/Honda dealerships will likely overcharge for that service.
I have a few options near me of quality...
Yeah I’m a pretty average driver, I’ll test the sports mode out here and there but not flying and slamming on them.
Just looking for best quality and efficient maintenance. In the past I had beaters and would get whatever was offered.
For this car I’d like to replace with equal or superior...
Hi all,
I’m wondering if there’s a big difference in OEM vs aftermarket brake pads.
I don’t have an Acura dealer near me so I usually use independent shops for brake jobs.
Is it worth asking them to order OEM pads and/or rotors or will the aftermarket parts perform equally well?
Is there a...
Hi all, just bought a new 2024 Aspec Tech and noticed a pin sized chip in the black vinyl trim under the rear passenger side window. It’s hardly noticeable but in the future if I wanted to replace that piece or trim, is that sometime I’d have to do at a body shop or relatively easy to DIY?
id...
