Oh man. Decisions, decisions. I am getting the red interior. I guess as long as the stitching doesnāt bother me, Iāll go heated. On the other hand, winter is only 3 months at best where I live so maybe just some nice leather driving/racing gloves would do the trick. I havenāt looked where to find quality ones yet. If anyone has any suggestions on brands to check out, please let me know! Not standard in the US, unfortunately--it's an easy DIY or dealer add-on though. Approximately $500 for the wheel, and I believe dealers were selling the wheel with install for $750-$800. The only downside is, for folks with Orchid or Red interiors, dealerships seem to only be able to order the heated wheel with black stitching (stock is color-matched to the interior color, and the Canadian heated wheel has color-matched stitching as well).

I spent 10 years driving an FA5 Civic Si with no heated steering wheel, and never thought anything of it.Oh man. Decisions, decisions. I am getting the red interior. Absolutely. I never had one until I bought a new 21 Ram & then so when I ordered a new 22 Ram Limited I had to have all those same 1st world problem features. Hard to go back. But manageable. Would be easier & best if it would just come with it though like it should in my opinion for being an Acura. & like you said, when I test drove the TLX Type S it had it. So I keep thinking - why wouldnāt this one have it? Cmon Acura.I spent 10 years driving an FA5 Civic Si with no heated steering wheel, and never thought anything of it.
Back in October I got a TLX and installed the heated steering wheel. Itās a game-changer IMO. This morning it was 45*,so not cold, but you bet I turned the heated wheel on for my drive to work.
Itās just one of those little things that you never think much of until you have it, but once you do you realize how nice it is.
Ya, pandemic has turned Honda into a disappointment. They, like many, are seizing the op to improve their finances. I think theyāre missing the real op here with the ITS.well yeh but Honda seems to be one of those manuafuactor that you and see an feel the cost cutting way more than its competitors. Both Honda and Toyota living off their reliability reputation which isn't gonna keep customers returning.
The way I see it, we trade great seats for heated one, better sound system and HUDā¦ sooo same MSRP than the FL5 ? Hahaha daydreaming for sure.they looks like I'd fall out of them in regular back road driving, completely contradictory to its chassis.
Acura needs to sell more car. They were down 30% in 2022 in Canada (same as Honda). Obviously the ITS wont be a high volume seller ā¦ but it should be price to sell and bring some spotlight on the brand and maybe help sell more base integra even if the price jump compared to a SI is ridiculous (si in canada has a lot of extra feature)Ya, pandemic has turned Honda into a disappointment. That should be their halo car like they say but we all know theyāll up the msrp and dealers will get their piece too.
To boost the Acura brand, ITS should be priced the same as the CTR and be obtainable without ADM or other dealer tomfkrey. Itāll be priced out of a reasonable range like the manual. In Canada the Si is 35k, a manual Integra is 42k which is ridiculous and the ITS is likely to be 53-55k (best case).
the HUD only has the speed right from my research, no rev counter or configurable with driving data like Oil pressure or temps.. If so, its not a deal breaker that we have it.The way I see it, we trade great seats for heated one, better sound system and HUDā¦ sooo same MSRP than the FL5 ? Hahaha daydreaming for sure.

Would take the shifting lights of the FL5 over a HUD ā¦ well thatās my preferences ā¦ maybe not everybodyās onethe HUD only has the speed right from my research, no rev counter or configurable with driving data like Oil pressure or temps.. If so, its not a deal breaker that we have it.
Its essentially a gimmick imo. Least to me, take me not even a fraction of a sec to check the speed. Integra implementation feels like box checking.Speed, road sign, navigation, braking alerts
