So that’s why I never got the updated email (blue reservation). Thanks for sharing all this.

That comparison chart is odd and cherry picked as expected...
  • Top speed is an absolutely pointless measure unless you're racing on the Ring or something
  • # of speakers is not a useful metric either, it's the quality (or at least watts)... B&O and Burnmester are ELS level
  • Of course they ignore features you can get on the other three (AWD, sunroof, rear AC vents haha)
  • The rear leg room & cargo capacity are the really stars here for those with a family, jumps out instantly
  • Surprised they didn't highlight the 6MT more in BOLD or something as that's super rare these days
  • Side note--the RSX-S hp 'dropped' from 210 to 201 in 2006 due to the new SAE standard

This is the accessories list I got from my dealership.

The accessories that are X'ed are the ones the dealerships have to install on the demo vehicle--these pricing lists vary between dealerships and regions, but they're all going to be priced higher than MSRP for the accessories on the Acura website to account for labor.

You can typically buy the parts at or close to MSRP in the parts department of the dealership, but you'll need to do your own installation. The illuminated accessories are the most involved, the front logos (Acura and Type-S) require removal of the full bumper for install, and the carbon fiber spoiler requires drilling additional holes in the decklid.

If you're buying the car, you can/should try to negotiate the price for any/all of these. Also, anything you buy along with the actual car (must be on the same transaction) will be covered under the same warranty as the car.

You’re absolutely correct about this. I took a snapshot of the final price

So it’s $10k with all these installed options. Very pricey. The price for the demo showroom car are non-negotiable but they did mention that this will be the only demo car they will ever have. They stopped taking orders and waitlists as they can’t guarantee anyone will even get a ITS if they aren’t already on the list.
