Not necessarily in the market for a new car, but I'm wondering if anyone here who has drive a 2019-23 Mazda 3 Hatch (FWD non-Turbo if possible) and non-Type S Integra could comment about its ride quality & NVH?

I've read some complaints about the ride quality especially on the high way, and AFAIK, there was minimal sound deadening added compared to the Civic. With the technology package as well, I read that the comfort mode doesn't change much.

I'm working on a very comprehensive post comparing the two cars but I traded my Integra A-Spec MT for the Mazda3 AWD Turbo HB 2 weeks ago. Strictly speaking about ride quality and NVH, the Mazda3 is much better. As someone who's had Hondas for the last decade, it really hurts to say that. I went from the 10th & 11th gen Civics to the Integra and noticed some ride & NVH improvement (seems too quiet going at 70mph), but going to the Mazda3 is a whole other level. Not quite Lexus level but getting close. There's probably some differences with the FWD version due to less weight and different suspension tuning to accommodate that but I can't imagine it being much different.

Bottom line: if ride quality and NVH are important, don't trade in your Mazda3 for the Integra

Mazdas drive great, I can’t quite get the configuration I want, 6mT and either LSD or awd, but we might get my wife a CX5 as the family car.

Thank you! I could see myself trading it in one day for a used Integra A-spec Tech. Maybe during the mid-generation refresh, but I’m getting wayyy too used to how nice the Mazda interior looks and the NVH is so much better than even more costly Camry’s I’ve driven. I was hoping the Acura would be at least equivalent with the adaptive dampers and considering it’s almost 40k OTD cost.

Thank you though!
