that's pretty much the only thing not up for debate hahaha. I can't see them keeping the same MSRP but with no added features (assumption) i can't see them raising MSRP over $3k

Over the last several MYs, price increases are announced in January and/or May/June of each year. I expect a $1,000 increase to MSRP for the DE5 in January 2025.

Both dealers I spoke to said they expect a few hundred dollars increase. I think a $3k increase is irrational at this point. According to the tracker, there are about 400 2024s that have been sitting at dealer lots around the US for several weeks now, so I think it would be a dumb move for Acura to hike prices drastically.

I was told by 2 dealers back when I picked up mine in February they were notified on couple of extra grand higher for 25’s. Who knows but that’s what was mentioned then.

I also think any changes to the 2025 Type R will probably carry over to the Type S (e.g. they upgraded Honda Sensing on the Civic Si, so I imagine that will also carry over to the Type R). It would be a little strange for them to not do that because they'd have to manufacture both the old system and the new system simultaneously for the different cars. But I guess you never know, it seems like the base 2025 Integra didn't get any of the updates that the 2025 Civic Si is getting.

The civic si got some pretty significant updates for 2025:

Hopefully we'll hear about the type r and ITS pretty soon....
If Acura decides to keep this thing around a few more years, you could expect a somewhat similar "mid-cycle" update as a 2027 model. That would align with what we're seeing with the Si, which was first released as a 2022 MY.

But that said, I doubt that will happen. The ITS being based on this same 11th gen platform, that doesn't make much sense to introduce a mid-cycle update for 1-2 model years for a niche performance car... that's a COPY of another niche performance car.

I think I'm falling in line with those thinking that this car is what it is and won't change throughout its life cycle, possibly at ALL.

I am still holding out the expectation of a PMC edition, but if I have to get in an ADM knife-fight for it I'll probably pass.

only thing changing is price and color offerings (LSM will be gone and urban grey will replace it for an upcharge). that's my guess.

additionaly, the interior is called dark metal and looks different on the configurator.... i don't remember how it looked before if the dash detail was good enough to notice the texture.

Also the interior photos show rear USB ports. At first I thought it was a stock Integra photo, but the photo also has the red contrast stitching which looks like an type S rather than standard Integra, right?

Looks like the same thing is happening with LCM for the base Integra configurator too, so I don't think this indicative of anything. I know for a fact the 2025 base has LCM as an option because I saw a 2025 LCM at the dealership. I do think this means they're about to update the configurator in the next few days though. So 2025 announcement could be imminent?

I also noticed the Type S option on the models page is incorrect and showing the base car, so maybe they're going to replace the picture there too? Maybe I'm speculating a little too far but could that mean there's going to be some sort of visual change with the new car?

Now that I look at it, it seems like with an archived version of the website, the old MDX type S used to use a Tigers Eye render, and now it uses an Urban Grey render. Could that suggest the ITS is also going to get Urban Grey? I'm going deep into the rabbithole now lol
