I actually went to that dealer to have the transmission fluid changed in my 2016 MDX when we were driving from Texas to Delaware to move my daughter back and pull a U-Haul. Earlier this year I traded that MDX in for my APB ITS. Got mine slightly used (2700 miles) from a BMW dealer here in the Dallas area. I have not seen another ITS on the road anywhere since purchasing, in DFW or on two road trips to San Antonio. I also have not done any mods with the exception of appearance. Type S dead pedal plate, red lettering for Integra and the S on the center console, insulated shift knob, and about to go down the path of carbon fiber overlays. Ordered one for center console to get my feet wet and fear it is going to get expensive....lol
I have the Acuity insulated shift knob and love it. Just watched your video on installing their Stage 2 shift kit, sounds very intriguing but the install looks like a bit of work. I am pretty mechanically inclined but looks like it can be a big job. However I got the ITS mainly because I wanted to go back to MT and sounds like it would be a perfect upgrade, I, like you, could just drive aimlessly with no destination for the joy of the ride.
