Installed the 27WON Leather shift knob

I have to say I am way more impressed with this part than I thought I was going to be. It feels significantly better than the factory knob in my opinion and to me it fits in with the interior of the Integra much better. It has a very “OEM Plus” look and feel, which I love. Quality feels very premium and the added weight feels more comfortable when shifting.

I want to give a particular shout out to 27WON for the packaging! I know to some it may not seem like a big deal but to me, quality packaging makes me feel like a company cares about the customer experience just as much as the product - as a consumer it makes me feel better about the purchase if that makes sense - just my 2cents

Also if @Vincent@27WON is watching, I’d be curious to see if 27WON has any interest in doing a shifter assembly (like Acuity or Hybrid Racing) but with your spin on it - I think you and your team could pull of something nice!

Thank you, I appreciate that! I’ve actually been meaning to do a little review on the springs now that I’ve put a bit of time and mileage on them. Overall I’ve been very happy with the ride quality - I was surprised that it is as comfortable as it is to be honest. I don’t even think about it during my commute to work which is a mix of backroads and a few miles on the interstate, not bouncy or harsh at all. When doing a bit of spirited driving on some curvy roads it is noticeably tighter and gives you a bit more confidence in the corners. The spacers are from my previous car (10th gen Si) and that car was running 245/40R18 Michelin Pilot Sport 4S as well as lowering springs and I felt like the fitment was perfect. PS4S have a nice meaty sidewall and shoulder than most other manufacturers so it lined up nicely with the body very flush. Once the factory Continentals wear out I’ll be going to the 245/40 PS4S again. *I used to autocross that Si and those tires were phenomenal by the way* But to answer your question I have no doubt that the 245/40 will work since I ran a very similar setup. No other suspension mods just yet but since I’ve been happy with the springs I have my eye on the Eibach control arms and sway bars to complete the set (hopefully soon)
Right on 🤙 thank you for the insight! That’s what I’m trying to wind up doing too; going full eibach suspension conversion from the bars to the springs, etc. following this post to keep tabs on what you get going on yours throughout your journey.

He actually installed them with the factory skirts on! The instructions recommended that you remove them, however he showed me one of his tricks: If you remove the under cover/shield, you can gently peek behind the skirt and there are small crosshair shaped marks that are easily reachable. Using a pick tool, he poked the center of each mark just enough that you can see it on the other side. These are your drilling points, and it was an absolute breeze after that! Everything lined up perfectly, I was impressed.

As for the wing, I was terrified to drill into a brand-new car, however my friend was comfortable as he does it all the time lol. The included templates really made it easier than I was expecting, and the results were stunning!
Interesting, so for the side skirts, if you take them off, will there just be holes in the side of the body? Sounds like your friend had a workaround but I guess I'm asking in general.

You can definitely get creative if you want to avoid the holes, but yes - following Acura’s official instructions will unfortunately leave some holes.

there is a really good video by AHC Garage that shows the install process very nicely if you want to see where exactly the holes are drilled:

(Right around the 7:00 mark)

Any fitment issues w the spacers? Car is looking very fresh.
Thank you,

No issues with the spacers, I would recommend them for anyone running the stock wheels and want a more flush look. Make sure to periodically check the torque especially if you drive aggressively or motorsports such as Autocross etc.

long term goal is to install lightweight aftermarket wheels with a lower offset and remove the spacers all together.
