Just got my oil changed in my base spec 24 integra. I drove about 100 miles before the engine started feeling rougher. Like slightly louder and slightly vibrates the pedals more. I am using the free oil changes and I worried they’re getting careless and just throwing any oil viscosity in there. I can’t tell if I’m going crazy.

I quick google search told me the integra, tlx, mdx, and rdx all recommend 0w20 so I think it’s unlikely they mixed up and used a wrong oil weight (unless google lied to me).

I’d check the dip stick to make sure the oil level is between the two dimples. I probably should’ve done that myself after my free oil change but forgot.

That’s good to know. Just checked mine and it was between the two dots like you said

They can put a 30, 40 or even 50 grade multi-viscosity in there...car would not run any differently, so rest assured fresh oil is doing its job and the car is not complaining :) Odds are its a 0w20 or possibly a 30.

Make sure they put everything back on and sealed on I worked at dealership and they for some reason sometimes have forgotten to deal everything up good and by the time the customer got home no oil and everything seized on them . Dealership owed new engine ...

I remember years ago I was driving cross country stopped in Tennessee at a jiffy line to get oil change. Car started smoking when I got to North Carolina. I popped the hood and the oil cap was missing. And so was half my oil splashed all over engine bay. Needless to say even reputable places make mistakes. Never hurts to double check everything.
