Gas tank size

Does anyone top off their gas after they fill up?

I'm not sure if it is to be expected but I filled my tank until the pump clicked yesterday and drove to work this morning so I drove a total of 4.7 miles and I already lost a bar of gas. Seems pretty excessive but wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing this.

I'm definitely not driving it hard and am shifting at approximately 3-3.5k.

Ive had it happen I feel like I put enough gas but not enough for that bar and the bar rounded up type thing and as soon as gas was used which it went down a bar since in theory it was rounded up .that's my theory on it

I feel like the first bars will disappear faster then the rest. Might be the gas tank shape?
