I’ve pulled a few VINs from Autotrader for demos and incoming orders, but for whatever reason my insurance, Farmer’s, does not see the car to quote it. The VIN does not show up in their system. Neither does the year+make+model.

I tried Progressive’s website too, and it has the same issue, Acura does not even show up on the “make” list for 2024 model year cars (there are a number of other omissions there, too).

Does Acura have to register the ITS somewhere for us to get insurance quotes? Maybe this is why the release date is slated for 6/19?

I was quoted $475/mo for an FL5, and similar for an Elantra N, while my G80 M3 costs half as much for the same coverage (comprehensive, liability and collision with UIM). Not so sure I’ll want an ITS at nearly $500/m, so really would like to see insurance prices soon in case I decide to forfeit my order.

Has anyone else experienced this? Curious to hear what your insurance quotes are, especially in comparison to other cars you’ve owned.

Apparently insurance in urban centers costs a ton. Lots of accidents, theft, vandalism etc. My 2004 Volvo is still $120 monthly. Is your home address in an urban center? Also, what sort of coverage do you have?

Similar to mine, ish, but does not explain the massive difference. I was quoted around $230/m for a 2023 A spec.
$1000 collision
$100 comprehensive
250k/500k liability

Plus underinsured motorist for 250k/500k, that adds some too

ZIP code probably accounts for a lot of the rest, I imagine?

So many variables. Age, driving history, property, and location. I'm paying $1260 every six months with Geico with Mechanical Breakdown Insurance.

I had my insurance quote me on a CTR and it was less than expected. I’m assuming the ITS will be roughly the same premium for 6 months.

I just got an insurance quote for the ITS. I am M 26 with a clean driving record. This car would be for recreation because I don't have to commute for work. I was quoted $1,716 annually. This is about what I expected from my insurance provider.

that is pretty good for a major city at your age. which insurance provider are you with, and what is your coverage?
