The one dealer I was working with to get the Type R only had a total of 1 allocated to them so far. Yikes. It likely depends on where he’s located.2 units all of 23 is a damn lie. Most Honda dealers have gotten least 4 FL5 by now and vol dealers have gotten more.
I saw another one that had leather heated wheel listed. I’m thinking some lines are getting crossed from CA & US releases. Glad I’m in the US as we normally always get better options, pricing, allocation, etc.I don't see my heated steering wheel listed!!!!
I'm guessing I'll have to make the standard Integra heated steering wheel accessory work somehow....sigh

I agree that Acura dealer is probably lying, but Honda dealers have not gotten that many FL5s. There's 1072 Honda dealers in the US, and according to that dealership scraping tool the guy on CivicXI built, there's only been about 1200 FL5s brought here so far.2 units all of 23 is a damn lie. It’s pretty hard to draw that comparison, as the Civic is a global platform.Anyone know what percentage of Type R is for the civic. That might help gauge if demand will be met
This isn’t necessarily a list of all options. This is a list of dealer-installed accessories that this dealer is adding to increase the price.I don't see my heated steering wheel listed!!!!

ones I’ve been tracking in the east coast has been getting a decent amount. One dealer is holding 3 cars.I agree that Acura dealer is probably lying, but Honda dealers have not gotten that many FL5s. I wonder if they're holding that many because of the stop-sale.ones I’ve been tracking in the east coast has been getting a decent amount. One dealer is holding 3 cars.
it’s definitely not the 20k markupI wonder if they're holding that many because of the stop-sale.
I noticed that too, it’s bizarre how much hate there is when the cars are almost the same besides the way they look.Just hopped on the typexi forum. Man the hate on the Type S is strong… almost like there is no buyers remorse. Gotta hate on the car if it makes your purchase feel better.
Well said. A lot of people who are trying to justify why they spent 20k on markup…Just hopped on the typexi forum. Man the hate on the Type S is strong… almost like there is no buyers remorse. Gotta hate on the car if it makes your purchase feel better.
I think the average markup paid was around 7k on that forum, but your point still stands. Some people really bought into the fear mongering about scarcity and some people also were just really impatient and couldn’t wait for the market to cool.Well said. both cars look great and both serve a purpose. Neither car is worth 20k over msrp… that’s for sure
