Ok following up here. I changed my pads to some Paragon P3s up front that I bought on the civic forum. The old pads were wearing down unevenly, where the bottom of the pad had more material than the top of the pad, so wearing at an angle. Not sure what causes something like that, but the clicking noise seems to have stopped. I’m at 14k miles and they had around 3mm of material left. Hopefully it doesn’t come back.
Are you still running the 10.5 et 45?

I put the oem wheels on but added 15mm spacers up front, so same offset, and a taller wheel at 255/35/19. Rears are on 20 mm spacers now. My winter setup

Did the 10.5 wheel / tire combo give you any issues, or did you just want more sidewall? I was considering that setup, so I'm curious what your feedback is.

I had absolutely no issues with my 10.5 on 285/30/19. Just that time of year for the wheel swap to winter setup.

Did you ever get the clicking noise again or the brakes did it ? I recently starting hearing the noise too

Currently have 21,000 miles on the dash (I know it’s a lot of miles for one year driving lol) and I am starting to hear a slight clicking sound on the driver side when I turn the steering wheel on either direction, I can hear it more clearly when I turn right which makes me think it could be the CV axle going out but c’mon the car only has 21k miles! I recently started to hear it after I installed new tires that are wider and slightly taller which I’m sure that has nothing to do

Just in case I do have to replace axles does anyone know if the FK8 axles fit on the ITS? I can’t find anyone selling ITS axles yet (don’t want to pay dealership prices, I’d rather get insane shafts, but those are still not available yet)

these are my mods related to the issue;
Eibach lowering springs (1.2” front 1.0” rear)
Falken RT660s (275/35R19) on OEM wheels
PRL bottom rear motor mount
Wanted to follow up on this and see if issue was resolved . I today just started hearing that clicking noise ...I'm also lowered on H&R and added more power now also on 19x10.5 285/30/19 so I'm like ah man can it be the tire combo ? But nah I've seen everyone have no issues so I googled issue and yours came up so hoping you have a direction to point to

Nope. Changing pads fixed it for me. Would give it a shot.
Did you also change your wheel setup the same time you changed pads?

I've had the noise for a while, and it went away when I switched back the OEM wheels for winter, but is now back on my Apex wheels. I'm also lowered on Eibach springs. Mine is mostly only apparent when turning hard, but I did hear it coming into my driveway the other day...

There's some commonality in all the folks saying they hear this click, and it does sound reminiscent of a CV axle. Seems like everyone who experiences is lowered, and may or may not have aftermarket wheels with different offset, or wider tires.

It went away even with the apex wheels I had on. Also lowered. They were wearing unevenly, not sure if there was an issue with one of the pistons lagging upon braking. But I would guess if you pulled your pads you might see something similar. Easy check.

kind of breezed through this thread again, but is the click like a one time thing, upon change of direction? Or is it just a click, click, click constantly?

When I have the aftermarket pads on the car, they always slightly move up or down in the caliper upon first change of direction, like reverse to forward. Just one loud click then done.

My previous car with same Brembo calipers did this with aftermarket pads too!

Mine is like a click click click click when turning I only hear it when I make a right turn though ...I'm checking it with Acura wed to see wassup ...they shouldn't deny it if it needs warranty just for being lowered and wheels

I have experienced both, the aftermarket single click with paragon pads, and the click click when I was turning. Just pop them out and you’ll see. Acura did nothing for me except tell me I had excessive wear when I took the car in for that click. They won’t replace anything. Save yourself some time and just swap pads.

If that ends up being the case I'll end up swapping pads and rotors from Paragon and upgrading the back rotors to Paragon too
