I’ve been able to have fun with this car for a little over a year now. Wow that first year flew by real quick. 😅
Figured it’s time I shall start a build thread, this way I can flood my own thread with pics/updates, rather than everyone else’s threads.

Wait I didnt know the eventuri cf intake paired up with the PRL turbo inlet pipe ...I wonder if it restricts power vs the eventuri turbo inlet pipe or keeps same

This is a NICE ONE. I love it...

But is it too much to ask for you to get the center caps? Seriously, I love the car so please don't take this as me hating on anything whatsoever about it... but it's like nails on a chalkboard for me to see this perfect car and amazing wheels... without center caps!!!!!11

Also I'm going to spam everyone who have installed springs, to seriously seriously consider adding adjustable lower ball joints. There are multiple vendor options out there, all should do essentially the same thing... but I swear it's a huge difference. It might not be easy to identify at first, but the springs add about a degree more negative camber than the fronts after the springs are installed (may vary by springs vendor...), and that contributes to increased understeer. I'm not saying you need to go all-in to -3.5 degrees like I have... but bringing it inline with the rears will at least bring it back to factory feel.

But the way my car is set up now it feels like it has infinity grip levels on the street, and noticeably sharper turn-in. I'll have it out to an autocross this weekend and report back findings then.

Also adds a little visual flare aesthetically IMO with the added camber giving it a more menacing look. I'll get out and take some pics soon.

Thanks! and yes i get it. I also wanted to have center caps. It will look better, nicer, and clean. But, the last time i checked and tried searching for center caps, they don't have any made to fit the CE28SL's.
So, if you know of any shop or website that does offer center caps for the SL model, please lmk cuz i will definitely go look into it.

Which lower ball joints did you go with for reference?
The thing that i am still tryna figure out is finding a competent and trustworthy shop to perform these adjustments and alignment type work. I usually perform all work/maintenance/mods myself, except work that require specific large tooling or machinery, like an alignment rack.

I look forward to your pics!

Did you ever have just the TSP downpipe and RV6 frontpipe installed with the stock exhaust? That's what I have on my Type R and i was just wondering how much louder the A'pexi makes this combo.

sorry i did not. I already had all the parts in hand, so the DP, front pipe, and exhaust system were all installed at the same time.

From what i have seen and heard, the Type S stock exhaust is already quite a bit louder than the Type R stock exhaust, so i'm pretty sure if you decide to go A'pexi or any aftermarket exhaust on your R, the sound and loudness is going to be a very noticeable difference.
