I picked up my first car a 91 Acura Integra (Automatic)
Then I picked up the 2000 Acura Integra 5-Speed Manual

Once I heard the Integra was coming back I starting watching the market for when to buy one. Then I saw the Type-S come out I had to have it. Over 1500 miles on it and love every mile. So fun to drive. Mod Pictures to follow.

Hope you enjoy my story!

Awesome story! I started off with a 1991 Integra RS Automatic handed down to me from my sister. I then got an Electron Blue EM1 (2000 Civic Si) which got stolen. Then bought a friend's 1990 integra 4 door 5 speed that was stolen and crashed. haven't had any time to restore the car and wife ended up buying me a new Type S. Have fun on your journey!

Love the green Integra! And of course the ITS in the color my 23 6MT is.
I bought a 1990 Integra 5 Speed with less than 20 miles on it. :)

Mods got installed and look so cool. See attached

What got installed:

All Season protection package 1
Emblems - Illuminated front A-mark
Emblems - Gloss black type S
Door logo Pattern projector
Carbon fiber tailgate spoiler
Carbon Fiber door mirror cover
Wheel locks black
Shift knob (they also told I can't keep the stock shift knob....WTF really!)

They were suppose to install the door visors as well, but got lost in the paperwork somehow. I am like did I pay for it, it should be on there! but got to pick my battles LOL.

Yeah that Green Acura was so fun to drive. Was my favorite car until I got the new ITS. I would love it if Acura brought back that dark forest green, so clean!

Congrats on the new ride! I love the Apex Blue!

This is very unusual in my experience... I've never heard of a dealer insisting that they keep the parts that are replaced. Have you thought about calling dealership's service or general manager about this? Then maybe Acura if that doesn't get anywhere?

Wait what? The stock accessories weren’t given to me until I drove back and asked for them. You already paid for that shift knob in the entire MSRP price including all components from Acura factory.

Buying the titanium shift knob is in addition reflected in what you had to pay for it. If it’s like a trade in, then they should refund the cost of the oem shift knob. You bought both accessories, not pay for both and only get to keep one.

Go back and get your oem accessories please lol

i agree, i suggest going back and getting all the take off parts. you paid for them and you also paid labor for them to install the new parts.
To illustrate a point and to help you out. Dealer made money off stock accessories when you bought the car through them from Acura. Dealer made money selling you upgraded accessories. Now dealer will triple dip taking back your shift knob you foot the bill for and profit off of it a THIRD time reselling it at zero expense to them.

Secondly, it’s literally in the contract that you purchased the entire vehicle; ALL of it. Even the specs of dust that came from the factory belong to you.

I made sure to get it in writing at no charge because these components rightfully belong to the purchasing customer:

Acura Integra My Acura Integra life -- from my 91 to 2024 ITS D62DA02E-A836-4E96-BDC9-CB231606CCB2

I asked for every single one that came with the car from factory. Sure I might not be using it but I can resell these for a few hundred bucks or keep them as spare parts.

Lastly, if you purchased the copper wheels, they belong to you. You also own the stock shark gray wheels AND the TPMS sensors that comes from factory as a set. I asked them to swap originals back for this reason (and to prep for winter driving set):

Acura Integra My Acura Integra life -- from my 91 to 2024 ITS 5175AA58-2C64-4D7D-AEDF-C19C22E1510A

Acura Integra My Acura Integra life -- from my 91 to 2024 ITS 8B72B018-2D39-4630-9272-BC3685E23436

As you can see from the box, TPMS sensors comes as a set for customers to have fully functional system.

I made sure these were re-attached so I don’t have to re-purchase another four sensors I already paid for. These run for $45+ a piece so if they take it, you will have dropped $400 bucks for TPMS sensors.

If dealer tells you the sensors were removed to install on wheels that are on your car, that’s a lie. Quite honestly theft as well.

Yes TPMS sensors have their own part number, but so does every single part in your car. Acura sells them as replacements. Don’t let this spoil your enjoyment at all. It’s not an Acura problem, it’s a dealer problem and selfish greed.

We just want you to get what’s rightfully yours. Hope this helps

OP, I had a '97 GSR in the same color. Wish I had a better picture.

After selling this in 2000 for a '95 325i, (I wanted to do track days but couldn't fit in the Integra with a helmet) it was a long hiatus from Honda til my 2017 Civic Sport hatch.

They didn’t give me the stock shifter either. I like the light up from emblem. You should get the light up door sills. They look really good also.
