I've taken delivery of the exact model/color as my reservation, NFT site is showing the error message. Glad I am not the only person dealing with this issue. Hope they resolve it ASAP.

I claimed mine and got something similar--mine's a gold/pink integra driving over a continuously looping set of hills in daytime with light beams popping up.

Probably most important for many, I got the NFT with a reservation I made on 3/10, but ultimately purchased my Integra from a different dealer who happened to get an allocation from Acura for a White/Red 6MT outside of the reservation process. My dealer of choice wouldn't receive my reservation allocation until the beginning of August. I canceled my reservation after pickup, but was still able to upgrade the NFT using my VIN today.

Woah cool! Mine looks different than yours, very devoid of light sabers. Also mine's in the snow biome, and someone spattered blue paint on my PWP, LOL.

I do concur about NFT issuing... here's my theory in hindsight:

1. I think they actually have a token in your Metamask wallet that checks the blockchain to make sure you originally were one of the first 500 reservations and claimed/received the original NFT.
2. Then, I believe there is some type of continuity gap until they recognize that a '23 Integra VIN was sold to you. [This explains how cancelled reservations, or other scenarios with dealer swapping don't actually effect your ability to upgrade the NFT.]
3. Their NFT system then verifies your car (any VIN in this release, i.e. my car was originally delivered from Honda/Acura as the dealer's demo unit, which they recoded for me) and confirms that you are eligible to convert the NFT tied to your Metamask wallet.
4. An animated one-of-a-kind Integra NFT is then issued to you.
5. TBD if the animated one you see on your acuraverse.com page is actually posted in your wallet or OpenSea or whatever.

I could be explaining this wrong, but that's my conclusion.
Also, if you are on a Windows pc you can right click the animation and save the video as a .mp4 so you can watch it whenever, LMAO.

I’m a couple of days away from getting mine. So what’s the process? I have the email. Do I put the link into the browser within metamask like the original claim?

And then does it only ask for a VIN? Because the VIN would be tied to my name, but the wallet has no idea who I am.

For me personally in metamask, not in the browser through opensea, but the main wallet app, under NFT, I see mine. After conversion does it show the new animation there? It was originally marketed as the original permanently goes away.

I’d assume the original token number etc is the same right. It just visually looks different. Is there any change in the actual block chain for the conversion?

When I open Acura Verse webpage, the message I see is “The 500 Next-Geb Integra x Wannerstedt NFTs went fast. “ but I was among the first 500 who made the reservation was able to download the generic NFT.
