Oil Filter Part Number

Anyone know the part number for the OEM oil filter? I need to change my oil soon and I can't find anything online about parts for the '23 Integra.

Is your dealer not doing the 2 year of free oil changes for your car? It was supposed to be included w/ purchase.

A quick search for the '22 SI pulled up 15400-PLM-A02 which Honda has been using for many generations.

If the dealership balks, dump them and go to another one that actually honors Acura's offer.

Agreed. Only catch to the program is that Acura will not honor deal until oil is at 15% or less

Does anyone know if they use full synthetic? If not, is there an extra fee to do so?

Yes, I'm aware of the 2 year free maintenance program. The problem is I want to change my oil at 5,000 miles instead of waiting for 10,000 miles, especially for the first oil change. Oil is relatively cheap at Costco, so I don't mind missing out on 2 oil changes (at 10k and 20k) from the dealership.

The dealer I purchased from told me to come every 5K for service … are they not doing the oil change , tire rotation every 5k? Or are they like Toyota/Lexus every 10K for oil changes but at 5K they are doing tire rotations…

Short story long, I used to have a Mk6 VW GTI. The place that tuned it for me (New German Performance) told me that VW went from a 5k oil change interval to 10k interval purely to save money on their free maintenance program. They recommended I stayed with 5k intervals. When I got my Tacoma, Toyota also recommended 10k intervals, but dropping to 5k if you went off road or towed (IIRC they called it "heavy use" or something like that). Since I did tow sometimes, I took it in every 5k, and had them change the oil. I would have to pay for every other oil change, but considered it cheap insurance.

I'll probably do the same for the Integra.

Has anyone gone to the dealer to buy a filter over the counter? I looked at my paper work from my first free oil change and they used this part number 15400-RTA-003.
But now I checked on Acura’s website and the part number superseded to (15400-RTA-004) but if you type in a 22 Civic Si they are using the PLM filter… so what’s the correct part number the Civic Si engine uses Vs the integra ?

I wonder what the difference is with the new part number. I should remember to ask the Honda dealer nearby where I got my last 2 filters if they carry that part number.

Just changed my oil this week at 3500 miles. It was explained to me by the dealer that the service interval for oil is at 15% (or like 7k miles?).

Im paranoid from my last Direct Injected car. Intake valves were absolutely coked with carbon from all the blowby at 50k miles, after going 6k miles each oil change. I'll stick to my Amsoil Signature Series every 3500 miles and save the time from having to drop the car off at the dealership every few months.

Thank you, I think I’ll stick to the PLM part number and just get them from Honda. I’m okay with doing the intervals every 5k since that seems about correct for synthetic oils. I never did trust the 10k mile oil changes my Toyota or Lexus asked for

But you can't get the RTAs anymore from HONDA, now the # supersedes to the 15400-PLM-A02

I agree with you. I'll change my own at 5,000 miles (40%-50% oil life on the MM).
