one rattle fixed possible loose clip under car..

I heard a new really annoying rattle from behind me on the left side of the car..
When I got home I got out to see if I could find the rattle. I hopped in the back seat and closed the door with car idling and noticed it was coming from middle of door so I started pushing around on it can felt a clip pop back in and the rattle stopped.. This is weird because NO-ONE has ever sat behind me and only I occasionally open or close that door if I put something in the backseat.

when I got out it I still heard something and looked under the the car and found the fiber shield really bowed and it looks like the clip under the center of the car is coming loose.

I dont remember but like to think I would have noticed this last time I was under my car.
anyone elses look like this from under drivers side rear door?
