Painted wheels

Has anyone had their stock wheels painted? Thinking of going gloss black on my TEP

Yeah, I agree. Black is always a good choice! I think it'll look sick on your TEP. Your wheels are gonna look so dope when they're done.

Black is never played out -- on anything. Common? Sure, but that's for a reason. It goes with anything, and it looks good.

I'm getting mine powder coated in a couple of weeks. Still have winter set up on till I get stock back up.

i think the stock matt black wheel will probably look a lot like the type R wheel? There are people swapping DE5 with FL5 wheels on the forum. Maybe check that out?

Black is never played out -- on anything. Common? Sure, but that's for a reason. It goes with anything, and it looks good.

I think it's a little bit played out, but it can look good on lighter cars.

I don't like the murdered out black wheels on black cars though. Detail tends to get washed out on black wheels too which I'm not crazy about.

That being said, I have gunmetal wheels on my white truck and I think that contrast is great.

Co-worker told me he saw a black type-s with gloss black rims, blacked out emblems and limo tint upstate SC yesterday.. he didn't take a picture

The wheel spec is 18x10.5" = it's 19lbs per each wheel.

What colour wheel should I go with in the future? Mine is pretty blacked out as well, tint (not limo tint) all around, black Acura emblems. The exhaust tips are CF surround, so basically black too.
