Those running the hybrid racing short shifter….

Is there ANY way to retain the stock shifter boot? Lol! I see everyone that installs it leave it without the shiftboot and Im unsure if my OCD will allow that Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

It'll go back on. You just need to use the factory shift boot collar or something similar like the acuity upgraded one for it to clip back into . I think a lot of people leave it off to show off the shifter.

Yep, goes back on. I would get the Hybrid Racing shift boot collar too. Cheap and it makes switching knobs a breeze!

Yes, nothing special is required to use the boot. Many just like to go without it.

I personally don't have that one but browsing through the instructions for the shifter on acuity's site it should go back on assuming you use the factory shift boot collar/something similar
