I found this piece today and not sure where this came from.
Does anyone know?

I am a bit bothered by the fact this car is new. Does anyone know if this is covered under warranty?

Where would I get a replacement of this, is it a removable snap where I can just replace or would the whole cargo cover need to be replaced? If so, anyone find this? or know part #?

The cover in first picture snaps in behind your shifter. Dealer was supposed to install this at PDI. Just feel around with your fingers and you'll find the spot where it should go.

Is the plastic cargo cover clip broken, or is the cover just not clipped on properly? How does it look on the other side? If it's broken and the car came like that, take it to the dealer and see if they'll replace it. I don't see why they wouldn't, especially for a new car.

I just looked at mine. Yours is definitely broken. Ask dealer for a replacement. You'll need a whole new cargo cover, and will possibly need to take off the grommet/panel it clips into so you can get out the rest of the broken piece if it's lodged in there.

Mine is also like this… assuming dealer fixed it? I’d prefer they just give me the parts and do it myself.

No they wouldn't replace because, they believe the guys who tinted my car broke it. I ended up pulling the broken piece out and super glued it back. DiY fix...

Looks like I lost my two grommets inside the trim piece. Just gotta take it last now. Womp womp. They also missed that front piece by the wireless charger. Same dealer? Haah Illinois?

I just check mine and the passenger side grommet was halfway pushed in. Worked it back out and dabbed a bit of grease (Didn’t have any Mercedes sunroof grease) on both. Honda has been using these grommets probably longer they’ve been building cars! Always good to have a bit of lube on them I learned from motorcycle bodywork long ago.

mine were installed backwards so they were easier to push into the body of the liftgate, rather than pull out. I ended up taking apart the trim panels to the liftgate and found both of them.
