What kind of spacers did you get?turn radius, comfort, wheel hop, all feel the same on 15mm
There are differing opinions on this depending on the source so take this for what you believe it to be worth. I've run spacers on several cars past and present on the street, including my FL5 and GT4. In most applications the effect on handling will be imperceptible to most on the street. With that said, I have not and would not run spacers in any motorsport environment - HPDE, AutoX, etc. - for a couple of reasons. 1) Handling: A smaller spacer will have limited effect on handling; however, the effect increases as you go up in spacer size. The effect I'm referring to is primarily, but not limited to, load transfer. The prudent move would be to start at OEM baseline and tweak, as necessary. And if you need to make changes, you're better off getting a wheel with a desirable offset for your intended application and/or change tires. 2) Safety: Adding more leverage to the OEM studs is not what you want for your wheel bearings. Again, YMMV.I'm considering spacers, but I track my car. Are there any downsides to track handling?
I may just buy different wheels when the current tires are due to be replaced.
I want something that looks better, but will not negatively affect my track days.
