Having a 22 Civic I might know but I always changed oil early. I want to change it in-between the free oil changes that the dealer wont do until
15% of oil life left. Approximately (I know it can vary some) Thanks in advance for replies.

Yes MM will say oil change needed at 15% so that’s why dealer won’t do it until then

That varies depending your city vs hwy driving. Anywhere from about 5-10k.

Also keep in mind that typically the oil shipped with a new car is a special blend for use during the break in period.... Generally I believe you want to keep this in the car for the full number of miles per the maintenance minder... Others pls feel free to weigh in as well.

It's not just miles. It's the age of the oil (time since last reset), how you drive, and how many miles you drive.

There is more to point life than just miles driven. If that was that case you'd just take 10k miles and subtract 15% to know that 85%=8,500 miles the Minder comes on. But as I said, its not that simple.
